an explanation:

JEREMIE BELPOIS

- Goes to factory one day to find some old parts for his robot. Accidentally discovers an artificial intelligence in distress. SPENDS MONTHS to even YEARS to bring her to real life! AND STAYS UP EVERY NIGHT TO COMFORT HER WHEN SHE’S ALONE

- Passed up the opportunity to go to a more advanced school that would help him with his future JUST BECAUSE HE WOULD MISS HIS FRIENDS :((

- Literally did nothing wrong ???

- Sometimes he’s really controlling, but he always tries to make it up to Aelita and sincerely apologizes for when he’s done something out of line?

- HONESTLY HE’S BEAUTIFUL AND PRECIOUS AND GOOD

YUMI ISHIYAMA

- oh boy don’t get me started i love my baby yumi

- Acts like a big sister towards Aelita and does everything in her power to protect her, even though it’s revealed later in the show that she wants to live her life and has no interest in Lyoko.

- Even though her relationship with Ulrich is really rocky, she’s always doing her best to be there for him?

- The fact that she’s the most willing to leave Lyoko behind shows her maturity because while everyone else’s reasons are based on nostalgia, she’s there to explain that even without Lyoko, the warriors are still going to be great friends and the memories will live on forever ?

- she had trouble making friends but she’s doing so great i just,,, love her

ULRICH STERN

- my son ulrich doesn’t get enough credit 

- Despite not knowing much about Jeremie, he seemed to be really worried about him when he collapsed at the vending machine ? (xana awakens)

- Even though small factors usually mess up the relationship he and Yumi have, he’s always there for her? He’s risked his life for her so many times, and even went against the warriors’ code just to make sure that Yumi’s family would win the lottery and wouldn’t have to go back to Japan?

- He’s also really reliable, and although Odd gets on his nerves he’s been such a great friend to him.

- He’s willing to protect William even though he’s a total cunt to Ulrich.

- He acts like an older brother to Aelita and it’s honestly the cutest thing?

- his parents are too harsh towards him and i’ll actually fight them

ODD DELLA ROBBIA

- okay so at the beginning he seems kinda like a humor character but he’s??? really great as the show progresses

- We all know that sometimes, Jeremie’s a terrible person and can be controlling towards Aelita; and that’s usually when Odd tries to comfort her and remind her that just because Jeremie saved her doesn’t mean she owes him anything?

- He also went out of his way to drive home the fact that Jeremie was being controlling in the episode where a mysterious stranger gives Aelita a neckalace on Valentine’s Day? You go, Odd!

- When Aelita decided to go against Jeremie’s wishes and go to Lyoko to find clues on her father; Odd stayed by her side until she decided to give up, not caring what Jeremie had to say.

- It’s hinted strongly that Odd has feelings for Aelita; but he knows how she feels towards Jeremie and respects whatever decision she wants to make.

- also props to Odd for breaking gender roles and not being a character people make fun of for being too feminine

WILLIAM DUNBAR

-I know we all learn to hate William in season 2 because of his advances towards Yumi and his smug behaviour towards Ulrich, but as the show progresses it feels more like William’s learning to respect whichever decision Yumi makes, telling Ulrich that it’s really up to him to be there for Yumi.

- Despite the Lyoko Warriors not trusting him, he’s still committed to joining the fight against X.A.N.A.

- i can’t really think of anything else because I didn’t like him that much either but he turned out to be a really cool guy?

SAMANTHA KNIGHT

- SHE DESERVED MORE SCREEN TIME !!!! I LOVE HER SO MUCH

AELITA SCHAEFFER

- haha i bet you THOUGHT we weren’t going to talk about this lovely angel!!!

- Aelita has gone through so much? At the beginning of the show, she’s scared and fragile, learning to rely on Jeremie for everything, but at the end she’s a mature and strong young lady who’s learning about her passions for things such as DJing and basically learning to live her life as a human teenage girl?

- She’s gone from thinking she was nothing more than a computer program to fighting to find out her entire story, even if it gave her nightmares and hallucinations?

- She’s brought 5 unlikely kids together? You have a socially awkward nerd, a Japanese transfer student that has trouble making friends, an introvert with an abusive family, a troublemaker with a reputation for being strange and annoying, and a boy who got kicked out from school for being too “rebellious”; and this one girl brings them all together?

- She’s so strong I’m… going to cry… she learned to overcome being bullied by sissi too and i’m just so hap py,,, wholesome baby….

- i’m blessed hhhhh
